It's not uncommon for a bar to cost as much as your rack. We put UHMW (AKA dense plastic) on the bottom, back and front of our j-cups to ensure fewer scuffs and damage to your bar, better protecting your hard-earned dollars.

Solid steel spotter arms with a secondary steel pipe covering ensures full protection for when you miss that heavy squat. The safety arms ends also act as a second pair of j-cups, making your new rack even more useful.

The residential rack is designed to function optimally without being bolted down, however; optionally bolting down can reduce some shakiness when racking and unracking your bar.
